S90.01 (also written S90-01) is Arcitura Education's Fundamental SOA & Service-Oriented Computing exam, the entry-level exam of the SOA Certified Professional (SOACP) program. It tests core SOA concepts, terminology, and the goals and benefits of service-oriented computing. TroyTec offers 76 S90.01 practice questions in PDF and Online Test Engine formats.
S90.01 is where Arcitura's SOA Certified Professional program begins. It builds the vocabulary and mental model everything else depends on: what a service is, what makes an architecture service-oriented, and why organizations adopt SOA. Every later exam in the program, from technology concepts to advanced architecture, assumes you've mastered this foundation.
The exam covers four areas. Core concepts and terminology covers services, service-orientation, service-oriented architecture and service-oriented computing, and how they relate. Strategic goals and benefits covers the business and technology drivers behind SOA, such as increased interoperability, reduced IT burden and greater organizational agility. The service-orientation paradigm covers its basic characteristics and the ideas behind it, at an introductory level. Adoption impacts covers what SOA requires of an organization in governance, infrastructure, performance and standardization.
Arcitura's current Module 1, Fundamental SOA, Services & Microservices, keeps S90.01's conceptual foundation. It adds microservices, service layers and service inventories, API gateways, virtualization and containerization, and an introduction to cloud computing. TroyTec's S90.01 question bank focuses on the SOA fundamentals common to both versions, which makes it a strong starting point for any current Arcitura SOA track.
